When did you meet the 1st person on your list?
It was in 7th grade it had to have been at the beginning of the year sometime because I don’t ever remember being with out Alisse! Sorry I don’t remember exactly, Alisse maybe you can help. I have mostly blocked out junior high (not my best years)! I do know we had PE and lunch together. Then after that it gets all mixed with the thousands of other memories!

What do you like about the 4th person on your list?
Andrea is straight forward. You know you won’t get any crap, only the truth from her. I really appreciate that. And she’s really funny. She is a lot like me and we get along really well.

What do you like best about the 5th and 6th people on your list?
Angie and Trevor both are easy to have fun with. They make everything more fun when they’re around. Angie is such a caring and fun person to be with, and she’s easy to talk to we have a lot in common.

Bekki and Adam are strong! Their examples have been such a strength to me. Bekki is one of the kindest people I know, so loving and fun to be with.

How long have you known the 9th person on your list?
I don’t know Cindi how long have you been in the ward? I would say maybe coming up on a year.

What impresses you about the 12th & 13th people on your list?
Emily is really talented she is good with making really cute things. She is kind and patient.

Grandpa Brooksby is pretty impressive in every way. He is a hard worker, even still! He does so much. He is gentle and kind. He has an impressive mind. He writes and memorizes poem better than any one else I know. It’s fun to hear stories about his life, he has done and been through a lot, which is impressive.

What is a memory of the 16th?
One that is coming to my mind is when Julie worked at the dry cleaners and I went to visit her at work. It was fun, we sat and talked a long time, it was after she had met Craig and she was twitter-pated. She told me her love story. It sounded like a fairytale.

Something nice about the 20th?
Kent and Jan are my uncle and aunt, they are very nice and they’re so gentle too. Kent is really funny. And Jan is always so sweet!

Landscaping

So we got our landscaping done in the house that we are in, now that we are moving!

Looks good huh?

We had landscapers come and they knocked it out in 2 days!

They put sprinklers in the front and backyard. Put curbing around the yards and put rock and plants in them!

And yes, it's official, we are moving the 2nd week in August to our new house we've been building over on Greenfield and Guadalupe.

The landscapers spent a lot of time outside the front window. Kya was really interested in what they were doing so she was right there at the window a lot. I thought it was so funny because she would be right in their faces knocking on the window and waving at them! It's hard to see but there is a guy right out the window in the picture.

Kya and I were stuck in the house while they were landscaping so we had some fun with the camera!

Our Baby BOY!

OK you bloggers are so smart! The votes ended up in favor of a little boy and that's what we've got cooking! Pretty noticeable in this first one!

So that's our baby boy! We are really excited! It's funny because I was for sure that Kya was a boy and on this one I was for sure it was a girl. So my gut instincts are completely wrong! But it is fun to know that we can make both now!

Before I went to the doctors office they had said I was to drink 20 oz of water, and have it all finished an hour before the appointment! So needless to say I REALLY had to pee when I got there. So when I went to the front desk told them that I really had to go and it would be awesome if I could get in quick. The lady at the front desk told me I could empty a LITTLE bit. K is it just me or when you really have to go you can't just empty a little bit. So I ended up holding it until the ultrasound. Because why would they tell me to drink the water in the first place if they didn't need my blatter full! Well when we started doing the ultrasound the tec said that my blatter was too full and I could just go. So I guess they don't really need a full blatter to see everything do they now!

Family Night

So because of the rain that we got the retention basin down the street is super full! It does have a pond already but it now is a lake, well for now anyway. So on Monday for family night we borrowed a blow up boat from our neighbors and rowed through the retention basin in it! It was pretty fun.

Over the Weekend

So I haven't had a computer for a bit that's why I haven't posted. But let me catch everyone up. Last week we had a pretty good rain storm, and it flooded the basement. To get the cable for the internet to Preston's office we had drilled a hole through the wall in the window well. The hole was only about the size of a quarter but apparently its enough to flood 2 bedrooms (which included Preston's office, and a storage room) and the hallway near the stairs.


I found the water Friday morning just before I was going to leave town with the RS sisters. So that left poor Preston to deal with the mess and Kya! What a good guy! So he ripped the carpet up and dried it out.

So while I left Preston with the mess and our baby I took off with my friends to Lakeside to the Roger's cabin. It was SUPER fun! I road up with the three that are standing to my right, Angie, Andrea, n Stacy, plus Rachel. Hopefully I'll get an updated picture, she was just not in this one. We took our time driving up there. We stopped in Payson to eat at El Rancho's. We got up there an talked A LOT! We all told embarrassing stories, showed off some weird talents, and played games. It was so nice to have no kids and just have fun with the girls. Yes just like every other sleep over I went to I didn't go to bed. Rachel and I stayed up all night, a few others stayed up pretty late though, which was fun! In the morning we chatted some more and then headed home around lunchtime.

4th of JULY!

HAPPY 4th of July! Independence's Day is one of my favorite holiday's! Probably because I get to celebrate for 2 days, my birthday first and then the 4th! I like getting decked out I even did my toes... They're cute, I know!

We went out with our friend Rachel and Scott Grimes for a movie and lunch. We went to the movie Hancock, which was good and funny too. We hadn't seen a movie in a long time and here we are 2 days in a row! We really enjoy being with the Grimes they are easy to chill with and fun to talk to. Then after the movie we went to Costa Vida for lunch.

Then we went to my G-ma and G-pa Brooksby's house first we swam, then ate and the cool thing is that we can see the fireworks in her front yard.

Its become a tradition to get a whole bunch of the glow stick necklaces and bracelets.

This year my dad got 3-D glasses too.

Super Fun 23rd Birthday

I really had a great birthday! Preston really did a great job of making me feel special and making my day all about me! When I got up I got attacked by Preston and Kya with silly string. He had balloons and a gift waiting for me. He was making me breakfast which was a giant stack of pancakes and eggs, super yummy! In the afternoon I went out to lunch with my mom, to Dilly's Deli, one of my favorites! I could literally eat there everyday. When I got home I had another surprise waiting for me which was this...

A new laptop with a huge screen. It's really cool, I really like it. Then we decided to go swimming at my G-ma and G-pa Brooksby's house to cool off. It was nice, I love to swim! Kya was really cute in the pool too! She even jumpped off the diving board to me.

That night we dropped Kya off and went on a date. We went to our favorite Sushi place, Saeki Sushi. We go there a lot and always get the same rolls, but this time we thought we'd try something new. We asked to waiter what new roll we should get and he told us the Volcano roll. It sounded like a good combo and so we ordered that too. After waiting for ever for it, it came out with only three peices each were HUGE! It looked way different from what we order and it had some really spicy sauce over the top.

Well I fit the whole thing in my mouth, but my brain wouldn't let me eat it...
so I spit it out.
Preston tried it,

he actually ate the whole peice but we'd never get that one agian that's for sure!

After Sushi we went to Get Smart, I really enjoyed that movie! I about died laughing!

When we came back to pick up Kya from my Mom and Dad's house. Kya was still awake and being so silly and wild on their bed. She was yelling and jumping around, it was really the funniest thing.

I really had a fun birthday and don't have any complaints aobut being 23!
