Well I think I have fully recovered from the lack of sleep I obtained at girls camp last week, completely on my own accord. I am so glad that I was one of the few that got to go to camp. There was very limited spots for the leaders, and I'm glad that I fought my way in. I had a blast; I'm pretty sure I had more fun than any of the girls there. I really NEEDED to be there at camp, I learned a lot and bonded with ALL of the girls and came home exactly the way you should from girls camp... better, renewed and ready to take on the world again! What have I done without girls camp for so many years!
We had lessons, crafts, and music time each day. Fireside and skits at night. The bishops came up on Thursday which starts a huge water fight. Then when everyone got cleaned up we played games with the bishopric. One of the games was a state game and every time I was fumbling for a state I'd shout out Nebraska for some reason no one had picked Nebraska and it became quite funny. Bishops night was my favorite night because we all get to have our own ward testimony meeting with all of the girls. I am so amazed at the youth in our ward. The Spirit up at camp was amazing and I had tears in my eyes every time we sang THIS song, or any other for that matter!
I am glad someone had their camera out every once in a while because I didn't... I know SO not like me, but I was enjoying just soaking it in!
