Friends

I have spent lots of time with my friends lately, we have had lots of play dates, and lunches out! I've been loving it! Thanks to all my friends I really do feel loved!

Mall

Last week we went to the mall with some friends. We played on the playground, ate lunch, rode the carousel, and even went to the pet shop. We had lots of fun! On our way to play we saw this booth. We all thought it would be funny to shove all of our kids in the "Eye of a Hurricane." None of us knew quite what it was but it was worth a try. As we stuffed all of our trusting children into a box and searched for the two dollars needed others became curious and started to congregate to witness. One watcher even pulled out her phone and videoed too!

Twilight

Yes my friends and I went to the 12:01 am showing of the Twilight Saga. And no I have still not read the books... any of them. I'm just a night owl that likes a good night out with my girls. We went out to eat at Red Robin and then to the movie. We had lots of fun!

I wouldn't normally post a picture that didn't turn out... but the principle of the matter is funny! It's off center because we decided to take a picture right when the movie theater went dark. Never mind the fact that we had been sitting in those same seat for almost 4 hours!

And if you still haven't seen this you will die laughing!

TWILIGHT

Tea Party

My friends in my old, old ward (two wards ago) had fathers-n-sons. Which mean we had a tea party!

We had lots of fun at the tea party.

I am also so fortunate to have such sweet friends that remember me and invite me to things still, even though I'm "far away"! Thanks girls for the fun!

Baby Shower

For those of you who don't know, this is Meghan, one of my best friends since high school. She now is in Arkansas but she came back here to have a baby shower a few weeks ago! Anyways, I am so excited for her and I was glad I got to help out with her shower.

I did the cupcake for her shower and they turned out super cute, if I say so myself. They just were a bit time consuming... ok I'm lying they took forever! I'm glad I love Meghan, and I definitely showed her that by making these Booty Cupcakes!

Pretty cute huh? They are pretty 'Martha', so I'm glad they turned out in the end!

I had fun with you Meghan while you were here and can't wait for your little girl to be apart of your family!

Camping

We went camping with a lot of our friends in Payson. It was a nice get away and fun times. The night we got there Preston wanted to go romping in the truck. Unbeknown to any of the guys that jumped in first, which didn't have seat belts and were not prepared for such crazy driving! The two in the bed of the truck quickly were not after about 20 seconds. But the boys made it look like so much fun that Preston took some of us girls and we LOVED it! I'm used to just trusting Preston, because he really is a great driver when it comes to things like that. But the others were scared we were going to crash at times! We were prepared with seat belts and all, unlike the boys! There was a lot of squealing, screaming, and laughing. It was a VERY fun ride!

We went climbing and repelling the next day and it was SO much fun!

HILARIOUS

Last night we had our monthly Girls Game Night! And it was so much fun! This group of girls are the most fun and I LOVE our game nights! This time my sister-in-law came and she brought the most funny, random game EVER, called Qwelf! Yes Heather I'm sorry, I lied to you... this is a really embarrassing game... what I meant was EVERY ONE will get embarrassed somehow! We all had a REALLY fun time playing this game. It's usually better when it' s not your turn... because if it is your turn that means EVERY one is laughing at you, including yourself!

be a cheerleader, or conjoined twins!

Just some of the randomness was recorded on camera but there was more... a lot, lot more. Like putting ice down your pants until you rolled a number, pretending you're riding an ostrich around a beached whale, pretending to strip tees, talking like Frankenstein, reading cards like a preacher, playing air drums, and other weird things. It was really fun!

Next we played spoons, we should rename it "WWE Tackle Spoons" because this game you have to fight for a spoon! I think everyone got scratched or bruised some how, not to mention scares from last time!

I'm so glad everyone came it was a blast!

Girls Game Night

I should have posted this a whole week ago but I've been busy so here is the belated post. It was Rachel, and Natalia's birthday so I thought I would do something special for it. So I made chocolate bowls.

The bowls ended up turning out but it took forever for them to set up. The sun shines through my kitchen window and heated my granite up. Next time I will know not to have them sitting on the island.

Sorry to the girls that left before 1:30... I didn't think to get the camera out until things got brutal, and bloody. Which was about the time we started playing spoons! It was really funny because there were times that someone accidentally had two spoons in hand, but there would be two girls fighting over (what they thought) was the last spoon. It seemed as though Bekki was always the one fighting for a spoon. She may look small but she puts up a pretty big fight!

Girls were throwing elbows, knees, nails and full on tackling anyone with a spoon! Next time we'll know to wear our hockey gear!

Girls game night is my favorite every month!

Parties Parties Parties!

Just like every year, the Christmas season is packed with parties! This year was no different, I thought it might be different having the new one but I love parties, and couldn't miss 'em!

It started with the annual girls party. My friends from elementary, junior high and high school!

It's one of my favorite parties, I love to see all my girl friends and we have SO much fun every year!

We eat, play games, and laugh a lot!

Next was Preston's Grandparents party. It's fun to see his Stapley side, we don't see them much so Christmas is fun. Santa came and brought everyone a gift early!

You just have to sit on his lap to get it, Baden didn't mind...

But Kya doesn't particularly care for him this year.

Then it was the Brooksby's gathering!

We had our annual white elephant.

Here we are, all the Hatches!

Then we end up at the Stapley's for Christmas Eve! Where we ate, did our talent program, did our own show of Luke 2, Kya was going to be an angle... but wouldn't put the costume on so she ended up being a spectator instead. Did our candle lit tender mercies and then did gifts.

All in all we had a good Christmas season and fit in all of our parties!
