It really has been this long since my last post, it's really kind of heart breaking. I have been busy though, we have moved, gone to a family reunion, visited friends while there, unpacked, and stayed at a cabin. Needless to say I'm sick of the car and I am sick of boxes... oh and laundry but it doesn't take much to get sick of that!
First was the Hatch Family Reunion. It was a big one everyone that came from my Greatgrandparents, John Alma and Cora May Merrell Hatch was invited to this one, they had 10 children. I think there was around 300 people there at the reunion. We had printed out all of the life stories of Grandpa John and Grandma May, and the 10 kids and their spouses, to read on the way up. We caravaned up so we would just switch the stories around at the stops. It was fun to hear the stories and it was good to feel like we both knew the family. It really made me realize some of the things that they had to go through and realize how amazing my ancestors are! I am very proud to be a descendant of my Grandpa Ivan. He was a GREAT man!
Still on the way up we stopped in Beaver at the Cheese Factory, it has kind of been a tradition in our family when going up to Utah. It was a good stop to stretch out and eat cheese and ice cream!
Baden loved it because he didn't have to be couped up in his car seat!
The next day we spent at temple square.
Then that night we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was pretty.
The next day we drove up to the Marjory Pay Hinckley campsite for the reunion.
There was a lake near the campsite that we did a paddle boat for a little bit.
That night they did a few games and skits, us Arizonanins were a little chilly. Baden didn't have a hat so we put Kya on him... he still looks so cute!
The next morning the kids played games and sang songs and danced.
My dad's cousin Phylis told her famous stories.
We had a Hobo Golf tournament I got knocked out in the first round...
After playing for the whole day Preston won the WHOLE thing! The tournament probably had over 40 people!

After the reunion we when back to Gabe and Emily's and hung out for a couple more nights. We had lots of fun with them and we are so glad we were able to stay the extra day to hang out with Gabe too!
The kids played lots of games Ty was wanting to play older games that the little ones were not quite old enough to play along with him. Like Nephi Guess Who.
Kya was funny she was finding a whole bunch of things to play with, she is silly.
We played lots of games too, we're playing Hand and Foot in the back ground.
Thanks Gabe and Emily! We love you and had lots of fun!
Kya kept calling Kaylie her cousin. She had so much fun with all of the kids!
On our way out of town Preston took us around to his old campus, now UVU. He gave us a good tour and it was neat to see where Preston spend his days without me! It was fun hearing his stories too!
Then for our final stop we ate at Sconecutters it was yummy. We made sure we ran before driving all the way home!
We stopped in Kanab to eat at Wendy's there was a motorcycle gang, club, group... whatever you decide to call it... that were right outside the window. They all had their leather jackets and bandannas on. Kya looked out the window and said, "Hhh, look... pirates!" I think it would have even been great if they had heard her. She makes me laugh!
On a side note Baden claps now and it is the cutest thing ever. This is taken at our new house if you can't tell from all of the boxes. I will post more pictures of the house soon. We were only in town a few days and then we left again.
That weekend we went to a cabin with the Stapleys'. It was super fun we got up there Friday afternoon and stayed till Saturday night. Friday we roasted marshmallows, I LOVE toasted marshmallows I could have done it all night!
Kya was a pro look at those... ok I helped a little.
The kids had a blast all playing together!
There was a lake out the back of the cabin and it was super fun we caught Crawdad's,
canooed,
and got dirty. We had to convince Kya that it was ok to get dirty, quite funny! She didn't like it at first but she warmed up to it, we still had to calm her down because she was wet and/or dirty but she did have fun!
We both took a turn swimming the lake to the dam and back, it was pretty big!
I know it doesn't look like it in this picture but Preston was having a great time!
So was this one he loves being outside, and it helps to get licorice, he loves candy too!
I had come back to the cabin there was a movie going, I had set Baden down to fix dinner and when I came back he was gone. I turned around to see which of the kids had him and he wasn't there either I then when around to the back of the couch and he was spinning in circles, army crawling all over the place! He was having a blast!
