Temple Lights!

For family night we went to see the Temple lights. I'm glad we got there even though it was after Christmas.

Preston decided that he was going to talk with an accent for the night.

Christmas DAY!

Christmas morning we woke up bright and early at 9:15! (I'm so glad that our kids are still little and don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn!)

We found that Santa really did come!

Then it was off to G-ma and G-pa's.

We are not looking forward to 16... We'll just let Ella do the driving. Notice Preston is running to stop the car from running into a fire hydrant.

Then it was over to the Grandma and Grandpa's.

Later we went out to Whitney's her oldest broke his femur, poor guy.

Great Christmas!

This Christmas...

I gave you my heart, and that's about all a gave this year! So if you didn't receive anything from us don't feel left out... that's what I gave to all my family and friends. Just know that I really do love YOU.

Well this year was looking like it was going to be a very skinny cow year, but friends, ward, and family gave and gave and gave. It ended up being a really big fat cow year thanks to all who served, sacrificed and filled our Christmas! I didn't expect any of the things we received and I have been learning this year how to just say THANK YOU! So really thank you all!

We had lots of parties just as every year! RS dinner, Stapley adult dinner, Brooksby Party, Fred and Doris Stapely party, Girls party and a Hatch Christmas Eve. This year was a good one! And we seemed to fit everything in and all went smooth. (I'm still waiting for other pictures I will have to add those later).

"ONE" Good Party!

My Baden boy is ONE! His party was fun!

He loved everything that he got!

A little monster cake for our little monster.

And a big ice cream monster cake for the rest of us.

We had to coax him into diving into the cake! Most of the mess was made by mom and dad!

So just a quick update no pictures, this is rare! Cute none the less.

Baden's mode of transportation, if he is just roaming, is now WALKING! It is so fun to see him come around the corner on his feet! Cutest little boy I've ever seen!

We have all been sick for a week at our house and both the kids have runny noses. Every now and then Kya will turn to me and say, "Look my nose is bleeding." I have to remind her it is just boogers.

Kya: I hurt my leg really bad... look, it has no batteries!

Kya: Look at this house, what a terrible mess! Thanks for the reminder Kya!

Kya sings almost constantly, the other night we had put her to bed and about 45 mins later we hear, "I am a child of God, and He has sent me here, given me a errry home with parents kind and dear. Lead me guide me walk beside me help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do to live with him someday.... I am a child of God..." etc. It was the sweetest things! She usually sings her self to sleep but this one went on for a while and just melts the heart!
