We just had our ward party it was 'A Night in Bethlehem' the whole ward was dressed up and it was really fun!

I am amazed at the things Kya retains, I have told her the story of baby Jesus a few times but she knows it all and it is fun to hear her repeat the Christmas story.

PRETTY PAMPERED PEDI’S

I am so excited to announce that I will be doing pedicures out of my house… and I will do your finger nails too if you’re into that sort of thing.

Thanksgiving

The night before Thanksgiving we always have "Pie Fest" my mom and I made the pies this year for our family. Since it was only our immediate family we only made a few pies and not 14 like last year.

Natalie, cousin, and sister came over and made some for her family. We missed Whitney this year.

I think these are the only pies you ever need, apple, lemon meringue, and coconut cream.

I made 2 turkeys for Thanksgiving, plus rolls and Jello salad.

Here is my fruit turkey with his tail feathers on.

Grandma made coloring books for all of the kids with their name on it and everything!

It was a super fun laid back Thanksgiving.

Here are a few things that I'm thankful for:

My sweet hubby, he helps out so much!

My sweet kids, Kya is so helpful and sweet and Baden is such a cutie and I love their hugs!

My Family, I have good examples for parents, siblings, grandparents, and in-laws!

Friends, I have so many good ones!

To be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and my testimony in it.

My talents, I know that I have been given them by my Heavenly Father and I am to bless those around me with them.

Gilbert Temple Groundbreaking

We went to the Gilbert Temple groundbreaking! It was super awesome to actually be there. We felt like we were one of the ones that 'pointed our tent toward the temple'.

Elder Costa did our Stake Conference a while ago and it was fun to see his excitement then, and then to have him dedicate the grounds was really cool. You could feel his excitement as he talked about the temple, and his love for the area. We are excited to have the temple being built too and we feel really blessed to be close to watch it in the process!

We ate some lunch while we were there.

The kids mostly played in the dirt. But they were there and that's what counts.

There were a ton of people there and it was cool to see! I heard there was 5,000 chairs set up which were all filled by the time we got there. I am guessing, but probably about 5,000 more sitting on blankets, chairs of their own, or standing.

On the way home Baden kept repeating over and over, "Had FUN! Had FUN!" which got Kya to chime in too!

Halloween 2010

We started our Halloween on Saturday and good thing we did because we all ended up sick on Halloween! I thought I could push through Saturday when in fact I should have heeded the fever and stayed in bed but didn't want to miss Halloween!

So Saturday morning we painted and carved pumpkins. I love to carve pumpkins, but alas my children are two of the only kids in the world that don't like to get messy so they were given paint and brushes.

So Preston and I carved our own.

This year we decided just to blindly carve without drawing it on first, Preston did a great one with hands and all!

I decided mine needed something extra on the sides so I gave her ears and earrings.

Then when it got dark we went to our wards "Trunker Treat"--Without the trunks though, we were on the ball field in a big circle with chairs.

Kya was the cutest butterfly princess!

And Baden was the best looking cowboy!

Press was an ASU fan and I was a Pirate!

Then we went to my mom & dads ward shindig. It looked like the spooky fair got dropped in someones backyard... I'm not joking! It was amazing!
