New Years Eve

We spent New Years Eve night at the Tippet's house this year.  Had dinner, kids played, did fireworks, kids stayed up, we chatted and played games, rang in the new year.  We love having good friends to play with.

We had LOTS of fireworks, we both had bought some, and it seemed like the box Preston bought was never-ending.  We had fun for almost a whole hour!

The kids (especially Baden) LOVED lighting them and then running!

Then we busted out the sparklers... these were never-ending too.  The kids had loads of fun.

These two together was a bad combo... they forget they are the adults!

We were constantly telling the kids, "Make sure you aren't pointing your sparkler at each other"... "Stay away from each other"  These two get the sparklers and start fighting with them.  Yup, adults!

This cute one did this most of the time.

And this is what these cute ones did!  Yup they all stayed up for the new year.  We were expecting them to go to sleep but they never did!

So they rang in the New Year with us!

Christmas

Santa found our house!  He filled the stockings and gave a few things BUT Mommy made the tent!

Look I got a new camera!  Its awesome and I love it!

Then is was off to G-ma's for some delicious baked French toast, I think I could eat the whole pan of it!  And of course more presents.

She made a Nativity out of felt, just like the ones that Preston grew up with.  I LOVE them!

Then Grandma and Grandpa stopped by to see all we got.

Hatch Christmas Eve

We started of the evening with some Minute to Win It games, kids and adults we all had fun!

Even Grandma and Grandpa!

And there was a little cheating going on!

Then we started the program.  My dad always does Poncho Clause, it's a family favorite!

Did the Nativity

Then presents...

Mom and Dad didn't know that we had a special gift for them.  We each have them something that had to do with tropical stuff.  Then had them open a present in a present etc.

Which lead them to the to their itinerary and tickets to Hawaii!!  It was so much fun to watch them open it!  In the middle somewhere Mom jokingly said, "We're going to Hawaii."  Little did she know.
