We're Having a Party

Baden's Birthday was on Sunday so after dinner at G-ma's we let him blow out candles on his blueberry muffin.

He knew exactly what to do we didn't even have to tell him!

Then yesterday we had his party!

He sure knew how to open his presents too!

He got some fun stuff.

Look at that face he loved his car and watching it go.

I made him a lion cake because he loves lions.

We sang a lot so he could blow out more candles, he really liked that!

He just ate the scrap cake.

I don't think my kids like frosting (I've trained them well) so they mostly just ate the chow mein noodles!

My Baby is TWO!

Two years ago our sweet Baden boy joined our family!

He is getting so big and growing up so fast! He is starting to talk more and put sentences together. He loves to cuddle with me. In the mornings he will smile so big and give the biggest hugs. He is all boy and plays rough a lot of the time. He makes me laugh. Baden is really the cutest boy in the whole wide world.

I am amazed at the things Kya retains, I have told her the story of baby Jesus a few times but she knows it all and it is fun to hear her repeat the Christmas story.

Thanksgiving

The night before Thanksgiving we always have "Pie Fest" my mom and I made the pies this year for our family. Since it was only our immediate family we only made a few pies and not 14 like last year.

Natalie, cousin, and sister came over and made some for her family. We missed Whitney this year.

I think these are the only pies you ever need, apple, lemon meringue, and coconut cream.

I made 2 turkeys for Thanksgiving, plus rolls and Jello salad.

Here is my fruit turkey with his tail feathers on.

Grandma made coloring books for all of the kids with their name on it and everything!

It was a super fun laid back Thanksgiving.

Here are a few things that I'm thankful for:

My sweet hubby, he helps out so much!

My sweet kids, Kya is so helpful and sweet and Baden is such a cutie and I love their hugs!

My Family, I have good examples for parents, siblings, grandparents, and in-laws!

Friends, I have so many good ones!

To be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and my testimony in it.

My talents, I know that I have been given them by my Heavenly Father and I am to bless those around me with them.
