Last Day of School!

Well we made it through our first year of kindergarten.  She is such a cutie and it has been fun to see her grow.

Hospital

Yup I love the hospital ER.  Preston and I really know how to live it up on a Friday night!  I got feeling so awful that I just couldn't take it anymore and after three bags of fluid, some added magnesium, and a couple percocet later I was feeling way better!  Good thing it didn't have anything to so with the babies just feeling crappy!  Sometimes it's a wasted trip but this time it was worth it, I felt so much better afterward.

Chalk Face

The kids love to mix sidewalk chalk with water.  Bo decided it was war paint!

Kittens

A stray cat decided that our front bushes was a good place to have her kittens.  To tell you the truth it was fun to have them, just for a bit.  (Kittens are cute but I'm not a big cat person.)  So we took them away from the mom once they were big enough and trained the two hissy ones to be nice and then gave them away.  The kids really enjoyed them and they were so very cute!

Art Show

Kya is a pretty good artist and was super excited to show us her special art from school.

Colorado with our Friends

We decided to take a trip up to Colorado to see our friends.  It was great.  The kids all got along so well and they all had someone to play with the whole time.  It was nice to slow down clear our heads and spend time with our friends!  We love the Norton's!  They put us up in their camper which worked out so well and then we were able to spend the days with them.  The kids had a blast and it was so nice to let them run outside the whole day and not have to worry about them.  Preston went out and helped on the farm, and us girls stayed in and chatted, oh and take care of the kids.  We went down to the hot springs one night and swam which was new for us.  It was a strange feeling to be in a warm pool and have it windy and cold outside, rather than here where its hot outside and cool in the pool.  We were even able to squeeze in a date night and left all of the crazy kids with a babysitter.  Wish they weren't a ten hour drive away but it was well worth the trip.  

 

Temple Service and Dinner

The Primary had an day of service at the Mesa Temple.  The kids helped make everything shiny and clean.

Then that night the ward had a dinner that night.

Camping at the School

So Kya's elementary school had a camp-out at the school.  It turned out to be super fun.  Lots of families set up tents on the soccer field and spent the night.  They had pizza for dinner, played Wreck It Ralph on a big screen, we all got glow sticks and pop corn, a police truck came and let the kids talk through the intercom, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.  The only down side was that I thought I would be the one sleeping in my own bed while Preston did the camping, but both Preston and Bo didn't feel so awesome.  Leaving the prego to sleep in the tent, which really was fine with an air mattress, and turned out to be pretty fun to do with the kids!

Dance Recital 2013

What a cute little dancer I have!  Love this girl!

Hobo Mansion

Daddy went and found some supper big boxes so that the kids could have a cool fort outside.  We let the kids paint it in and outside.  They had fun while it lasted!
