UConn Game!

On Saturday we went to the Connecticut / Missouri game! Preston had gotten tickets for his birthday, compliments to my parents. It was a super fun game. We both had Connecticut winning this game in our brackets, so we didn't have to cheer for two different teams. It turned out to be a really good game too it was close, they played good, and our team won!
We had been told that there was going to be tons of traffic and we should leave earlier than we were going to and as you can see we we're there REALLY early. But it was fun to just chill and take it all in that we were at an elite eight game!

So while we were sitting there I noticed that there was blue tape on my cup holder, I thought that maybe mine had cracked or something. Then I looked up and notice every-single cup holder was taped!

Evidently State Farm is NOT sponsoring the NCAA Tourney and they were not allowed the advertisement! Preston and I were joking around about it for a while. Could you imagine having that job. "OK Joe, here is your rolls of blue tape and some scissors; we'll start here, I'll go this way and you go that way!" I know they only use almost half of the Glendale Stadium but that would have taken forever! Really you would think that it wouldn't be that important, but I guess someone thought it was!

And then there was this guy. I didn't notice him til the second half but he was nuts. Every time the game stopped for any reason he had a new hat on and was dancing like a weirdo, he didn't even need the band music to be doing it either!

I think I had an encounter with him at the concession stand though, I was waiting behind the only other lady in line and all of a sudden some guy came running up to the counter. He was wearing dress pants and a jacket and he had a big backpack, but I'm pretty sure it was this guy. He ran up said he needed a Dasani really loud and in a rushed voice kind of threw his money out at the lady (who by the way could have helped ME, I was next in line!) and then he was off, running in the direction of that seat. I think he has to wear a disguise in and out of the joint so he doesn't get beat up. He did keep us entertained though!
