Vroom!

I had to make up for being sick on Preston's birthday. We went out for sushi at our favorite place! We forgot to get the picture before the sushi was gone! It was good that's why it's gone!

New Family Pictures!

We got our family pictures back already and I love the way they turned out. I love Ben Christensen's pictures they have such a cool vibe to them. I was a little worried at first that we wouldn't fit with such a cool style... but that just shows you how amazing his pictures are! I love the relaxed feel, and just about everything else about the photos. We should be in a magazine somewhere... well at least our little model kids.

Shamrock Fun!

Yesterday we had our friends over to make shamrock, and rainbow cookies! They turned out so cute and the girls had fun making them.

Then today we had a St. Patrick's Day party!

I just couldn't stand his nappy hair anymore so this is before...

and after. I didn't cut off his curls in the back yet up the extra around his ears had to go.

Birthdays!

So this is a little belated but Kya had her birthday in February. I had been really busy up to her birthday and now have been sick since. So here it is finally...

KYA TURNED 3!!!

For months she kept saying that she wanted a ballerina cake. So when she woke up from her nap that day she came in and asked what I was making. I told her a ballerina cake. She responded with a gasp, "A BALLERINA CAKE! Exactly what I wanted?" She made it all worth it with that response!

I was just waiting for the tool to catch fire! It didn't luckily.

THEN...

Yesterday was Preston's Birthday! He deserves a lot more than what he got but having sick kids for a week and with being sick myself with everyday just get worse, I haven't been up to doing or getting anything! All he got from me was a homemade card and banner!

So thanks to family and Facebook for making Preston feel like it really was his special day!

Happy Birthday to my Sweetie! Preston is the my best friend. He always makes me laugh. He takes care of me, and helps me so much! I love him more than anything in the whole wide world!

Playing Catch Up

I know the absents of my blog posting is just killing everyone... ok maybe it's just killing me, but it's been hard getting back in the swing of things. I am feeling 100% from surgery, but haven't gotten my old routine down yet. Then just when I felt like I could Preston got REALLY sick! I don't think I've ever seen him this sick EVER! He's doing a lot better but let's just say that men are big babies when it comes to being sick. Not to take away the fact that he genuinely feels horrible, it's just kind of funny how men/dads get to be sick and the way women/moms get to be sick. I have now taken on the full time job of keeping his germs away from the rest of us, I just hope it works. We have a couple busy weeks in front of us and we can't afford to be sick too! Well here are some of the pictures that should have made it on our blog a while ago. Some pre-hospital some post.

I've had these done since December, there my Christmas present from me. We had two mismatched selves sitting in the garage forever and I decided that if they were both black they would look so amazing above the TV, and they do! I sanded them, painted them, and hung them and ta-da! We are getting family picture next week so I can fill them.

Kya is so sweet, daddy was tired and she got her own blanket for him and then snuggled (this was when he was well)

I was sitting in the kitchen one day, Baden decided that he was going to play in the garage. I was feeling lazy and thought it wouldn't do any harm so I let him stay out there for a little bit. Kya soon followed and this is how I found them. They sure were having fun!
