Happy Father's Day!

Glad I Have Kya

Sunday was one of those days that I felt like I should just stay home from church, Kya had been pushing my buttons and my attitude was slightly off. Despite my attitude problem we made it to church. We sat down, Preston went to the stand. I turned and said something to Kya and she mumbled something back to me, after asking "what" a few times. She looked up at me and said, "Be quiet mom we're at church." It struck me as funny and I was back to myself again. Thanks again Kya!

Crazy Kids!

My kids will jump off of anything! Usually it's off of the couch but this day it was off a table.

The funny thing was Baden doesn't really jump with two feet so he was just walking off of a really high step, eating it, laughing, and then doing it again!

Tons of Fun!

I know it... It's been a long time, I can hear it in my head "POST!" I have some days that I think "I have to take a picture of something today so I can post!" I may have a blog problem but at least my life is on here... right? I don't have anxiety about any other thing in my life, except when I haven't posted on this blog in over a week!

We have been pretty busy the last week, Preston's brother is in town and we have been wanting to spend as much time as we can with them before they have to leave us again. We have had a lot of fun with them.

Mall fun!

Baden LOVES babies! He's so sweet to them!

While we were in the mall I found a great deal on kids sunglasses! And now my kids are style'n!

All of the grandkids except the last set of twins, they were already sleeping.

Don't they look so good, such cute kids!

We've done the kiddie pools a couple of days and it's been really fun!

Tea Party

My friends in my old, old ward (two wards ago) had fathers-n-sons. Which mean we had a tea party!

We had lots of fun at the tea party.

I am also so fortunate to have such sweet friends that remember me and invite me to things still, even though I'm "far away"! Thanks girls for the fun!

Rocky is Awake!

Yes our tortoise is finally up! He has been in hibernation since November. We are very excited to have him out again. We all love him, he really is the coolest pet!

Baden has been so excited when he comes out! He squeals and then doesn't know what else to do but to shake and then touch Rocky's shell.

Blog Debut

I started another blog, don't worry this one will operate as normal I will just post more of my craftiness over there and more of my family doings on here.

Hopefully my new blog will get bigger prettier and better, but for now this is what I have so far. It is called this is my department and I'm excited for it. I have lots of fun doing crafty stuff and have figured out that I'm pretty good at A LOT of things in my "department" as a homemaker. I decided to share some of my tips and craftiness with everyone. Cheesecake Factory Fun

We went to Cheesecake Factory last week, per request of my brother for his birthday. Twist my arm hard enough and I may just have to eat there ;) maybe I should be rich for the sole purpose of eating there.

After dinner Grandma and Grandpa took the kids up to the mall.

Couple days ago the kids had they're first Twinkie.

I was a little sad while I was buzzing off those cute baby curls but after the cut I like it more and more. He is such a cute kid.

Vocabulary

Kya's vocabulary is so amazing! She speaks so well for a 3 year old. She is pretty funny too here are some of the things she says:

"Mom, come here I have to show you something... it's fantastic!"

"Mom, my tent is so comfortable and beautiful... see!"

"When I'm screaming I usually get a time out."

Me: Stop taking your diaper off because then you pee the bed! (happens so often... so sick of it)

Kya: Well, that's your problem!

...hmm I guess that is really my problem, I do clean it up.

(Opens up her scriptures)... "And it came to pass the Lord was happy."

Baden is at such a cute age everything he does is cute.

He knows most of the animal sounds but they all sound about the same, except for duck and crocodile.

Easter

We had a fun Easter weekend. It started off with the Stapley party on Friday at the park. It was super fun with yummy food.

I found it funny because as the kids were running around trying to stuff their baskets full of Easter eggs this is what all of us mom's (and grandma) were doing. Myself included!

Baden didn't understand why he was to put eggs in his basket but after he figured out there were jelly beans in them he understood. Which in turn he wanted more!

We played a while.

And had our annual silly string war!

Baden thought it was fun.

Easter morning before Conference we went through our Easter Baskets and then had a Easter egg hunt.
